Citizens for Judicial Excellence is conducting the second in a series of Continuing Legal Education courses on April 4, 2014, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The CLE will be held at Regus Center, Carillon Point, Kirkland.

Course Description:

Conditions of release, Bail, EHM, Transdermal Alcohol Monitoring, and the ethical implications of bail hearings will be explored during a three hour presentation sponsored by CJE.

Denny or Gayle Behrend of Lacey O’Malley Bail Bonds will review and explain the complicated process and rules governing the posting of bail and riders in criminal cases.

Fidelis Leasiolagi of 2 Watch Monitoring will explain the ins and outs of EHM and Transdermal Alcohol Monitoring.  Fidelis will bring actual working equipment so participants can see how the equipment works.

Diego J. Vargas will then discuss the ethical implications of bail hearings and how to handle them.

This CLE has been approved by the WSBA for 3 CLE credits including 1 Ethics credit.

This CLE is free to CJE members. Cost is $100 for attorneys not a member of CJE.
